The Cochran Plan is a residential subdivision of homes built between 1930 and 1990. Oftentimes the subdivision is referred to as Makefield Manor, a contemporaneous, neighboring development to the immediate south. Primary development took place in the 1940s/1950s. The median age is1951; median lot size is 0.42 acres. Makefield Elementary School, part of the Pennsbury School District, is a focal point of the neighborhood.
