Highland Park is a residential neighborhood of detached, single family homes which were built from about 1910 through the early 1980s; median age is ca. 1943. Interior living space ranges from approximately 900-3,000 sq. ft. with a median of approximately 1,800 sq. ft. Lot sizes range from less than one-tenth of an acre to slightly more than one-third of an acre with a median of approximately one-fifth of an acre.

The Highland Park neighborhood is generally bounded by Palmer Avenue West, Trenton Avenue West, Jefferson Avenue, and Hamilton Boulevard.
