Bowman's Tower Farm was developed, primarily with homes built by George Parry Construction. Throughout the development are found some residences that were custom-built by other noted builders selected by the respective owners.

Access to the later-developed phase is onto Brooks Bend Drive, just west of the intersection of Lurgan Road with River Road. Lot sizes range from 1-1/2 to 3 acres. The whole of what is considered Bowmans Tower Farm includes a section developed earlier, on the east side of River Road. Median lot size is approximately 2 acres. Median interior living space is approximately 4,800 sq. ft.

Contiguous to the development is Upper Makefield's 25-acre Lookout Park. Also, the homeowner association owns a 25-acre private "island" for use of residents, just across River Road, nestled between the historic Delaware Canal and the Delaware River.

Models offered by George Parry circa 1997 included: Cape May, Capron, Chaddsford, Chestnut Hill, Delaware, Devon, Hopewell, Malvern, Princeton, Stockton, Sturbridge, and Whitman.
