Sherwood Green is a residential subdivision of detached, single family homes built during the 1960s and 1970s by Scarborough Homes. Median age is ca. 1968. Median lot size is approximately 1/4 acre. Homes have 3 to 5 bedrooms, 2-1/2 to 3-1/2 baths, and 1 to 2 car attached garages. About half the homes have full basements.

Access to the Sherwood Green neighborhood is from Kings Highway (Route 551) onto Westwood Drive.
