Oakwood Lakes is a residential subdivision of detached, single family homes built primarily during the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. Median age is ca. 1967. Median lot size is approximately 1/2 acre. Median interior living space is approximately 2,000 sq. ft. Homes have 3 to 4 bedrooms with 1-1/2 to 3-1/2 baths. Approximately 10 percent of the homes have full basements. Most of the homes have a 1 or 2 car attached garage.

Access to the Oakwood Lakes neighborhood is from Taunton Road onto Cedar Trail or Tuckerton Road onto Oakwood Drive.
