Ballinahinch is a residential community neighborhood of approximately 450 detached singles, condominiums and townhomes built primarily during the 1980s and 1990s. Median age is circa 1992. a little more than a dozen homes date from the first half of the 20th century, and another dozen (approximately) that were built post 1999.
Condos range from about 900 to 1,500 sqft.; townhomes from about 1,200 to 2,500 sqft.; and detached singles from about 2,000 to 2,800 sqft.
Located within the neighborhood are childrens playgrounds and tennis courts.
The neighborhood is generally bounded by Convent Road on the west, Pennell Road (Route 452) on the east and Legion Road on the south.
