The Comanche County Courthouse is located at 315 SW 5th Street, Lawton, OK 73501; phone: 580-585-4444.

The county, named for the Native American Comanche Tribe, and Lawton, the county seat, were created in 1906. The economy of the county is based largely on the military presence at Fort Sill, livestock ranching and farming.
