School District: Perkiomen Valley

In Polk's 1882 gazetteer (see below) the village is spelled "Zeiglersville." U.S. Postal Service specifies "Zeiglerville" as the "actual Post Office name" but mentions "Zeiglersville" as an "acceptable alternative" spelling.

Zeiglersville. In Frederick township, Montgomery county, 14 miles northwest of Norristown, the county seat. The village, with its population of 233, is on Perkiomen Br. P. & R. R. R. Ex., P. & R. U.G. Prizer, postmaster.
