HORSHAM. Dating as a settlement from 1712, contains 110 inhabitants, in township of same name, Montgomery county, 14 miles northeast of Norristown court house. Hatborough, 2 miles east, on N. E. Penn. Div. P. & R. R. R., is the shipping point and nearest bank location. Daily stage to Doylestown; fare, 50c. O.P. Smith, postmaster.
