Crestmont

Crestmont is a neighborhood of mostly detached, single family homes with some semi-attached (twins). Representative homes from every decade of the 20th century are found here. Median age is ca. 1950. Interior living space ranges from approximately 800 to more than 2,000 sq. ft. with a median of approximately 1,200 sq. ft. Median lot size is between one-tenth and one-fifth of an acre. A number of homes with 1/3rd acre lots are found, mainly along Summit Avenue.

The neighborhood is generally bounded by the SEPTA tracks (east), Crestmont Park (west), Old Welsh Road (north) and Hamilton Avenue (south).
