Mosiertown is located approximately midway between Conneautville and Saegertown Boroughs alon Route 198.

Polk's 1882 Directory lists physician W.J. Gamble in Mosiertown. The 1912 Historical and Industrial Review of Meadville, Pa, contains the following excerpt.

Drs. Gamble & McFate – R. B. Gamble was born at Mosiertown, son of Dr. Wm. J. Gamble, who practiced in this county for 40 years. R. B. was graduated from Allegheny College, 1893, and from the University at Buffalo 1896, since which he has been in practice at Meadville.

Polk's 1882 Gazetteer

MOSIERTOWN. Formerly known as Cussewago,in Cussewago township, Crawford county, 10 miles northwest of Meadville, the countv seat and banking town. Saegertown, with which it has daily stage communication .5 miles southeast on N. Y. P. & O. R. R., is the place of shipment. The village contains 98 inhabitants, Baptist and Lutheran churches, and district school. C. E. Hamilton, postmaster.
