Paoli Gardens

Ca. 1957 subdivision of detached, single family homes. Median interior living space is approximately 1,300 sq. ft. Median lot size is approximately one-quarter of an acre.

Beginnings [1]

Situated at the intersection of Route 202 and Grubb Road in Willistown Township, Paoli Gardens is a modern real estate development of split-level homes. Stanley F. Malin, who has a real estate business at Paoli, recorded the name in November, 1955, and selected it because the 37 building lots faced what is called Paoli Pike.

Note: Apparently Paoli Pike "was" Route 202 before the creation of the 202 Bypass.
