Cornell Heights is a residential neighborhood of detached, single family homes built ca. 1940-1985; median age is ca. 1964. Interior living space ranges from approximately 800-2,500 sq. ft. with a median of approximately 1,400 sq. ft. Median lot size is approximately three-tenths of an acre. A small park with baseball field, tennis courts and basketball court is located in the center of the neighborhood. The neighborhood is bounded on the east by Metro Park Amtrak/Jersey Transit commuter station. Entry into the neighborhood is from Sweetbriar Road onto Rutgers Avenue, Trinity Avenue, Vetterlein Avenue, Sandlewood Avenue, Princeton Avenue or Lehigh Avenue.
