Mount Airy Historic District

The Mount Airy Historic District was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

In colonial days this hamlet was a stage stop on the Old York Road, a heavily-travelled road that connected Philadelphia and New York City. The Holcombe storehouse was built in the 1700s and still stands. It was in the storehouse that farm produce was stored until market wagons could take it to more easterly markets. [1]
