Cottage Hill is a residential neighborhood of detached, single family homes built ca. late 19th century through 2007. Homes range from 2 to 4 bedrooms; most have full basements; some have garages. Homes generally have from approximately 1,500 to more than 3,000 sq. ft. of interior living space.

The neighborhood is generally bounded by Franklin Street South, Swan Street, Brunswick Avenue, and Highland Avenue.
