Birchfield is a residential subdivision of condos, townhomes, half-duplex (twins) and detached, single family homes built during the 1970s and 1980s by Hovnanian. Median age is ca. 1981. Access to the Birchfield neighborhood is from Church Road South onto Birchfield Drive, Union Mill Road onto Lake Drive North, or Elbo Lane onto Firehouse Lane.
