Newtown Heights is a residential neighborhood of detached, single family homes built primarily from the late 1940s through the early 1960s; the neighborhood does contain scattered homes built from the 60s through 2007. Median age is circa 1957. Median interior living space is approximately 1,500 sqft. Lot sizes range from one-tenth to one acre with a median of approximately one-fifth of an acre.

Access to the Newtown Heights neighborhood is from West Chester Pike eastbound (Route 3) onto College Avenue or Bishop Hollow Road onto Ellis Avenue.
