OAKS. On Perkiomen Br. P. & R. R. R., in Upper Providence township, Montgomery county, is a village possessed of 112 inhabitants, located 7 miles west of Norristown, the county seat. Phoenixville, 3 miles west, is the nearest bank. Ex., P. & R. I. R. Weikel, postmaster.
