Hunter Crest is a development comprised of both detached single family homes and townhomes built ca. 1980-1985. Median age is ca. 1983. Median lot size is less than one-fifth of an acre. Interior living space ranges from approximately 1,600 to more than 2,300 sq. ft. with a median of approximately 1,700 sq. ft.

Entry into the neighborhood is from Alderfer Road onto Beth Ann Drive or Jan Drive. Hunter Crest is adjacent to Harley Glen which was built about the same time. The two subdivisions are considered by many as a single neighborhood, and, variously referred to by one name or the other, with no preference being clearly discernible.
