Carrigan Village

Beginnings [1]

...on Pennhurst, Marion and Carrigan streets just west of Spring City, was named after its builder, Walter M. Carrigan, a native of Lehighton, who was stricken with a heart attack in February 1962, at the age of 69, while he was building one of the homes there. He spent the last years of his life building more than 20 homes in the village [neighborhood].
