Anchor Estates is a residential subdivision of detached, single family homes built initially during the mid 1950s. Some homes in the immediate vicinity were built in the 1970s or late and are sometimes referred to as "Kings Ranch."

Median lot size is approximately 0.66 acres. Median interior living space of the 1950s homes is approximately 1,700 sq. ft.

Entry into the subdivision is from Durham Rd onto Midland Rd or Windy Bush Rd (Route 232) onto Williams Rd.
