Hampden Heights


Hampden Heights is a City neighborhood to the north and east of Albright College. It is roughly bounded by North 13th Street, Richmond Street, Oak Lane and Union Street. Neighborhood residences are about 30% semi-detached (twins) and 60% detached singles. Median age of the twins is ca. 1928; lot sizes are less than one-tenth of an acre. Median age of the detached, singles is ca. 1945; median lot size is approximately one-fifth of an acre. Interior living space of homes in the neighborhood ranges from approximately 1,000 to more than 4,000 sq. ft. with a median of approximately 1,900 sq. ft.
