Selected text was adapted from a copy of the National Register nomination document. [1]

The ten residences in the Albany Avenue Historic District are set back from the highway and widely spaced on generous lots. Rolling lawns and trees give this part of the village a suburban flavor in contrast to the more closely juxtaposed buildings of the remainder of the village. With the exception of two early twentieth century homes and one Greek Revival Temple style residence, this district is composed solely of Federal style buildings.

All the buildings are quite intact on the exterior and retain an historic appearance. There are no intrusions within the district boundaries.
