New Hamburg (New Hamburgh) is an historic Hudson River Village which, in 1860, had a post office, 2 churches, a railroad station, a ferry connecting it with Marlborough in Orange County, and a population of approximately 330 residents. It is located about a mile west of Wappingers Falls Village.

New Hamburg is home to two National Register Historic Districts: Main Street and Stone Street.
