East Riverton


East Riverton is a residential neighborhood of detached singles family homes built primarily from the 1890s through the 1930s. Median age is ca. 1910. Median interior living space is approximately 1,300 sq. ft. Median lot size is less than 1/5th of an acre. Typical homes have 2 to 3 bedrooms and 1 to 1-1/2 baths; most have full basements; some have garages.

The East Riverton neighborhood lies just outside the Riverton Borough line, east of Pompeston Creek. It straddles both sides of Broad Street between Canal Avenue and Snowden Avenue.
