Lake Pointe is a residential subdivision of detached, single family homes built primarily during the 1990s. Median age is ca. 1995. Typical homes are 3 to 4 bedrooms, full basement, and 2-car attached garage. Median lot size is between 1/4 and 1/3 of an acre. Median interior living space is approximately 2,000 sq. ft. Some of the homes back to Sylvan Lake.

Access to the Lake Pointe neighborhood is from Salem Road onto Mahogany Drive.
