Beverly Memorial Park

The dedication plaque near the gazebo reads: "Dedicated to the memory of William A. Gaines and James J. Russell who served with distinction as members of the Beverly City Common Council. They were excellent athletes and vital agents in the organization and development programs in Beverly and Edgewater Park, NJ. They added a dimension of commitment and compassion in serving the needs of our community. – September 26, 1987 by Mayor Frank R. Costello, Beverly Common Council, Beverly Athletic Club."
