Highland Park is a city neighborhood comprised of detached singles, townhomes and multi-family residences.
The neighborhood is named for the 30 acre city park located in the southwest corner along College Avenue NE. Park amenities include grills, picnic tables, restrooms, a playground, soccer field, swimming pool and baseball diamond. The park was first established in 1872 with several expansions in the early 1900s.
The neighborhood is generally bounded by Leonard Street NE, Fuller Avenue NE, Gerald Ford Parkway (I-195) and College Avenue NE.
