Buckmanville Baked Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 1 T. flour
  • 1 T. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 T. vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp. prepared mustard
  • 4 pork chops (3/4 to 1 inch thick)

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Combine flour, brown sugar, and salt.
  • Add ketchup, water, vinegar, and mustard; blend thoroughly.
  • Place pork chops in baking dish and pour mixture evenly over the chops.
  • Cover tightly with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 2 hours.

Serves: 4

Note:

  • This recipe would also be good using chicken instead of pork.
  • Shorten baking time to approximately 1 1/2 hours depending on thickness of chicken parts.
