Morattico Village

Morattico is an unincorporated area on the Northern Neck of Virginia, between the Potomac and Rappahannock RI\ivers. The area was known as early as 1608 by Captain John Smith, who exclaimed, or so it is said, "a place of heaven on earth."

Lying along the Rappahannock, it is the site of the Morattico Waterfront Museum.
