About two-thirds percent of borough homes are detached singles; the other third are primarily semi-detached (twins). BECHTELSVILLE. Is a village possessed of 960 inhabitants, located on Swamp creek, in Washington township, Berks county, 20 miles east of Reading, the county seat, and 3 north of Boyertown, the location of nearest bank. The Colebrookdale Br. P. & R. R. R. passes through the village. Ex., P. & R. J. E. Bauman, postmaster.
