The Village of Honeoye Falls and the Hamlet of Mendon (routes 64 and 251) are the historical centers of population and commerce in the Town. The town was organized in 1813 at which time it was part of Ontario County. Mendon Ponds Park is a desiganted National Natural Landmark.
