Lebanon Town

Lebanon Town Hall is located at 579 Exeter Road, Lebanon, CT 06249; phone: 860-642-7319.

Beginnings [1]

As in some of the adjoining towns, land titles originated in rather loose grants made by the Uncas' son Oweneco, and gave rise to a good deal of litigation. The first settlement was in 1685. The town was incorporated in 1700, taking the Biblical name of the Syrian city.
