HELP/ABOUT THIS WEBSITE As of April 20, 2008, Living Places has more than 6,900 web pages. If you're "looking" for something specific (as opposed to casually "browsing") access the Site "SEARCH" by selecting the light-green button in the banner atop every page. If you want to browse, check out the other buttons located in the top banner ... "WHAT'S NEW" and "SITE INDEX". What's Near and What's Here Link Boxes On Neighborhood pages there is a box headed What's Near. On Municipal pages there is a corresponding box headed What's Here. Either of those boxes contain links which can be one of three colors: Blue, Red, and/or Green. A Blue Link signifies a residential subdivision or neighborhood of any era. A Red Link signifies an historically-significant village, district, or neighborhood. A Green Link signifies some type of "site" or "building" which may be cultural, municipal, historic, educational, commercial, recreational, etc. In other words, something that is not a neighborhood or historic village or district. |
